Vienna Hauptbahnhof (Hauptbahnhof is "the main station" in German) is the main railway station in Vienna. Located in the Favoriten district, it opened in 2015 replacing three old train stations. The station is a central hub for all long-distance trains operated by the OBB (Austrian Federal Railways) and, in addition,
direct connections to 12 S-Bahn lines and metro line U1 are also provided by the station.
